What is the Transylvanian Highlands Ecotourism Network?

It is an informal platform for collaboration between the actors who carry out tourist activities on the territory of the destination. The members of the network are owners of accommodation, local gastronomic points or places to eat, are tour operators or local guides, local producers or craftsmen, are providers of tourism-related services or NGOs, who adhere to common values: the development of sustainable tourism and ecotourism.

The Ecotourism Network members join hands and work together to increase the attractiveness, but also the quality of the tourist services available in the territory of the Colinele Transilvaniei / Transylvanian Highlands destination. They add value to the destination and we are honored by their activity in the area. They are the ones who ensure that visitors and tourists coming to the Saxon villages between Sibiu - Sighișoara and Rupea experience the joy, diversity and peace of the area at ever higher standards of quality and sustainability.
