We respect the confidentiality of your data and that is why we, Transylvanian Highlands DMO, through the Mioritics Association, as the host organization, CIF 16533930, are committed to protecting any information that identifies or may contribute to the identification of a person, which we collect, process and / or have access to.

How personal information is collected, processed and shared depends on the purposes and legal grounds on which it is collected and processed, as well as the specific consent given by you to it.

Through this Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”), we want to ensure that you have access to adequate information about the collection and processing of your personal data, including information about which we have the obligation to inform you, as provided by the regulations in force regarding the protection of personal data, including the GDPR Regulation No. 2016/679 The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). This Policy may be supplemented by other information provided by us, as well as other terms and conditions that apply to this website or to which you have given your consent by interacting with us. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment forms, as well as the IP address of the visitor and the number of user agents in the browser to help us detect spam.

An anonymous string (also called a hash) created from your email addresses can be provided to Gravatar to see if you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public next to your comment.

Contacts

If you are a tourist operator in the Transylvanian Highlands and you make a request for "member" access, we will collect personal data, which you provide to us, such as:  email address,  name and surname,  phone number. They will be collected and processed by us exclusively for the purpose of sending you information (eg information on the tourist destination Transylvanian Highlands, developed products, offers, holiday greeting cards, other information about the tourist destination, etc.). The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of your consent.

  • In order to promote you on the website of the tourist destination, www.colineletransilvaniei.ro, as well as on the social media channels of the destination

  • To promote you in promotional materials;

  • To recommend you to tourism professionals (tour operators, travel agencies and guides) and individual tourists;

  • To inform you, by email, about news and events in the field of tourism and ecotourism;

  • To communicate by phone / email about joint actions for the development and marketing of the Transylvanian Hills tourist destination.

As long as we keep your data

If you leave a comment, its comment and metadata are stored indefinitely. This way we can automatically recognize and approve all subsequent comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users (if any) who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (but cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information. For any other changes, you can email us.

The information provided, as well as any communication and action taken by you in exercising the above rights, is provided by the Mioritics Association free of charge. However, if your requests are unfounded or excessive, in particular because of their repetitive nature, the Mioritics Association may: (i) either charge a fee for the administrative costs of providing the information or communication; or for taking the requested measures; (ii) either refuse to comply with the request.
