Let's count the Perseids from a hammock (or lying down on the grass), from a place with low light pollution and no bears!

What do we propose to you? A nocturnal experience, which starts in the evening and ends in the morning. And to sleep, we sleep in a comfortable place.

We meet in Mediaș, we set off towards Bazna. We visit the fortified church, we do a 6 km hike, admiring the sunset (almost sunset). We have dinner at Bassen Pension, where we also pitch our tent / install a hammock / prepare the mattress for seeing shooting stars (technically speaking, they are not shooting stars but we will tell you about that on site). Until then, we warm up at a small campfire. Around 11:00 we start counting stars. Then we sleep. In the morning we have breakfast, say goodbye to our hosts and leave.

Schedule:

17:00 – meeting and departure from Mediaș

17:30 – visit the fortified church in Bazna

18:30 – 6 km hike on Via Transilvanica

21:00 – dinner (main course and dessert)

22:00 – campfire

23:00 – 1:00 – counting the Perseids

Sleep

8:00 – breakfast

9:00 – return trip to Mediaș
