On the occasion of World Tourism Day, the Visit Mureș Association, in partnership with Bethlen Castle and the Mureșul Artistic Ensemble, warmly invites you to the event "Family Day at Bethlen Castle" on September 28, which will take place at Bethlen Castle in the commune of Criș.

Following last year's success at Degenfeld Castle in Cuci, this year we are eagerly looking forward to welcoming visitors to a new castle.

The aim of the event is to offer a memorable experience for all ages and to bring the community closer to the local cultural heritage, while allowing all participants to donate for a noble cause, thus contributing to the conservation, maintenance, and renovation of Bethlen Castle.

Children are invited to take part in fun and educational activities, where they will have the opportunity to craft handmade objects, play, and learn new things. Families can test their skills in an escape room and discover the history of Bethlen Castle together during a guided tour, including its curiosities and hidden treasures.

The day will feature special dance performances by the Mureșul Artistic Ensemble and the presence of teams reenacting traditional medieval lifestyles, bringing the cultural heritage of various places to life.

The event is free, but participants have the opportunity to make donations for the maintenance and renovation of Bethlen Castle. As part of the event, a large cauldron of goulash will be prepared for fundraising, where participants can purchase a bowl of goulash, and the proceeds will also be donated to the castle. All donations and purchases will go towards the conservation and protection of the local cultural heritage.
