Dear hiker,
Join us on the wine and Saxon story road, on a hike with a touch of story, on a route full of charm and history, in the heart of Transylvania. We start from Biertan, one of the most picturesque Saxon villages in Romania, guarded by the imposing fortified church – a UNESCO monument and symbol of the harmony between man and nature.
We slowly climb the Via Transilvanica, following the old wine road, which winds over terraced hills, once full of vineyards. As we gain altitude, spectacular panoramas of Biertan open up before us, with its medieval towers, reddish roofs and the tranquility that seems to have remained untouched by time.
The road takes us through meadows and gentle forests, at a gentle pace, perfect for stories and photos. Finally, we arrive in Richiș, a village with a special charm, where we visit the evangelical church, famous for its mysterious sculptures and its special energy.
We will also climb the hill with the water tower in Richiș, which will offer us a wide and wonderful perspective on the village.
This tour is a return to simplicity and tradition, a journey through dream landscapes and living history.
