King Charles III’s House in Viscri hosts “Fragilis Terra”, an exhibition by sculptor Virgil Scripcariu, dedicated to the fragility of matter, memory, and the relationship between people, earth, and place.

The works on display bring forward the expressive power of clay — a living, vulnerable material that carries traces, gestures, and stories. In dialogue with the rural landscape of Viscri and the atmosphere of the house, Scripcariu’s sculptures invite reflection on roots, identity, and the continuity between heritage, nature, and community.

“Fragilis Terra” speaks of the earth both as an original material and as a shared, fragile, and precious space. The exhibition invites visitors to discover an artistic universe in which portrait, form, and texture become ways of approaching the human presence and its connection to place.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 13 June to 25 August, Fri-Wed: 11h-19h.
