On Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 11:00, the Fortified Church of Agnita hosts the opening of the exhibition "But You, Lord, set me free...", with reproductions of the works of the artist Gertrud Hornung.

The exhibition will be presented by Helga Lutsch and brings back to the public's attention the work of an artist who had a direct connection with our city. Gertrud Hornung was a drawing teacher at Agnita from 1960 to 1962, teaching in numerous classes of the German and Romanian sections.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Siebenbürgisches Museum in Gundelsheim am Neckar, the Evangelical Church C.A. Agnita and HOG Agnetheln.
