Dear Sibiu lovers,
Beyond the elegant facades and the mysterious “eyes” that look at us from the rooftops, Sibiu speaks a discreet language to us. I invite you to a thematic walk through the historic center to discover Sibiu differently: we explore, we tell stories about the guilds and the medieval city, we follow the path to the Enlightenment when speculative freemasonry brings a new way of thinking and modernizes the city.

From the old craft workshops to the circles of ideas of the 18th century, we see how tools become symbols and how the facades begin to… speak.

During the visit, we will be joined by Peter Suciu (from Sighișoara) and Carmen Mureșan (from Brașov) — fellow guild members and friends who will intervene with ideas, stories and anecdotes that are sometimes more serious, sometimes more amusing. Together we venture on a visit in which we interpret Sibiu’s heritage differently, putting context where we usually see only ornament.
