The City Hall of Mediaș warmly invites you to “Ighișu Nou – Community Celebration”, an event dedicated to traditions, local people and community spirit.

The event will take place on June 14, 2026, starting at 12:00, in the courtyard of the Fortified Church in Ighișu Nou.

The day’s program will include festive moments, a visit to the Gymnasium School and an extensive folklore show, with the participation of beloved artists and local bands.

The following will take the stage: Costel Popa, Emilia Muntean, Cosmina Fulea, Aurelian Suciu, Diana Maria Crețu, Jesica, Alin and Natalia Matyas, Aurica Bacea, Cătălin Emil Bobar, Ioana Creț, Mădălina Cărculea-Popovici and Andreea-Cosmina Bebeșelea.

The atmosphere will also be completed by the Folklore Ensembles "Târnavele" and "Muguri de pe Târnave" from Mediaș, the Vocal Group "Mugurași de pe Târnave" and the Mediaș Children's Club.

A special play area will be set up for the little ones, so that the whole family can enjoy a beautiful day, full of good cheer, music and tradition.
