The ninth edition of the largest festival dedicated to Saxon culture and traditions in Transylvania, Haferland Week, will take place physically and online, from July 30 to August 1.

Program Rupea - town center

06.15pm – Unveiling of the memorial plaque at the German middle school. Event supported by the Nowero Association, Rupea and the Mayor’s Office Rupea
06:30pm – Spiritual word, Pastor Danielis Mare and Reinhart Guib – Bishop of the Evangelical Church C.A. in Romania; bilingual, German-Romanian. Event supported by the Nowero Association, Rupea.
06:45pm – Public lecture “Establishing German language teaching in Rupea”, bilingual, Romanian-German, given by Prof. Mariana Borcoman. Event supported by the Nowero Association, Rupea and the Mayor’s Office Rupea.
