We invite you, on June 27, 2021, from 4 pm, at the Angofa Wildlife Center, to an event meant to celebrate one of the most important dates in the Romanian popular calendar: Sânzienele. They are extremely beautiful fairies that protect the forests, meadows, crops and give special powers to flowers by transforming them into medicinal plants.

We will spend this magical day together, with Transylvanian stories, we will walk through the meadows with wildflowers, and we will have dinner in the light of the stars, with local products, music and good wine.
And as tradition says, that we have to make crowns from sânzâiene flowers, we will pick some wildflowers, discovering at the same time the trails especially created by our biologists for a good understanding of nature and its species and what it means to protect biodiversity, under the guidance of our biologist.

Celebrate the Summer Solstice (Sanziene) in the traditional way in the wildflower meadows of the Angofa Wildlife Centre!

Dress Code: Casual, but if you want you can come wearing the traditional IIe and don't forget a warmer coat, good after sunset!

We have a limited number of seats, only 30!

Time schedule:
16:00 - 18:00 - Walk on the routes specially created for the interpretation of nature
18:00 - 19:30 - Tasting of traditional dishes
19: 30-20: 30 - Stories, music and short presentations about the flora and fauna of the place
