European Researchers' Night ReCoNnect 2025: Science for the Earth – Sustainability through empowerment 🦎🏺🎵
This year, we join the ReCoNnect Researchers' Night in a fairytale setting: Rupea Fortress, in the Carpaterra Geopark!
On Saturday, September 27, between 10:30 and 18:30, we are waiting for you at an event where science, art and tradition intertwine in a unique experience.

You will participate in an interactive presentation on herpetology, supported by biologist Dr. Tibor Sos.
You will discover the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles, observe preserved specimens and learn useful information about the behavior of venomous species.

The event will be complemented by art and creation. Artist Moise Theodor Drăghici will present a ceramic exhibition inspired by the world of herpetology and will give an experimental music recital, “The Sound of Clay”, where ceramic instruments will be combined with modern sounds. In addition, you will be able to participate in a pottery workshop, where you will experience working on the potter’s wheel and rediscover the connection between humans and the Earth’s natural resources.
