On October 1st, starting at 5:00 PM, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful recital performed by the choir of the non-profit charity association InterCoral Jena e.V., from Germany, at the Butchers' Bastion in Sighișoara.

Their main mission is to foster intercultural exchanges, which in turn create a valuable exchange and build a better world through understanding and reconciliation by practicing and performing sacred music together. The values they promote are friendship, respect, and tolerance.

Here’s what they tell us about themselves: “We are a string orchestra, passionate about music, and in our free time, we work on 2-3 projects throughout the year.
We are a close-knit community, which is our defining strength.
We rehearse sophisticated string literature, from Monteverdi to Pärt, and perform Bach cantatas during church services or organize concerts in partnership with 'Saint Michael Cantorum' or 'Saint Michael Chamber Choir.'
