The most important intercultural manifestation of ethnic groups in Romania opens on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 5 p.m., in the Cetății Square in Sighișoara and will run for four days, until Sunday, August 28, 2022.

The mission of the festival is a simple one: promoting and consolidating inter-ethnic peace in Romania, in Europe and in the whole world.

Over 600 representatives of the 20 national minorities in Romania are expected at ProEtnica 2022.
The artistic program includes 60 traditional dance and music performances, art and photography exhibitions.

Co-organizers: the Department for Interethnic Relations of the Government of Romania and the Mureș County Council. With the help of Ministry of Culture, and the Municipality of Sighișoara.
