Dear hiker,
We invite you to a hike through spectacular forests and hills, on Via Transilvanica, in the heart of the Transylvanian Hills.
We start from Moșna, pass through Nemșa and enjoy the raw green, meadows full of flowers and authentic landscapes. We discover the charm of Saxon villages, with valuable heritage and local curiosities.
We arrive in Richiș, where the official opening of the “Popas Omul Verde” restaurant takes place and we will attend a large event for the opening of the tourist season in Richis where we will be invited at 2:00 PM and to a brunch with local delicacies.
Come along for a day of nature, tradition and unique local experiences!
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Saturday, 23.05.2026 at 8:00 from the Hornbach parking lot with personal cars to the town of Mosna
ROUTE INFORMATION
Distance: 11-14 Km. The route can be adjusted according to the group's preferences.
Elevation difference: approx. 300 m
Route difficulty: easy
Hiking duration: 4 - 5 hours
Experience duration: 7 - 9 hours
REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
t-shirts, spare pants and socks, boots, raincoat, hiking poles (recommended), sun hat, sunscreen, insect spray, whistle, water bottle min 1.5 liters, bars, magnesium
COSTS
80 lei/ adult participation in the hike.
40 lei/child
Optionally, you can visit the church in Richis – entry will be free
For those who wish to also participate in the Green Man Dinner - at 7:00 PM - the cost will be 120 lei/person.
All other planned activities will be offered free of charge.
Transportation and consumption will be paid separately and independently.

– The configuration and length of the route will be adapted depending on the weather conditions and the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the group.
– The organizer (guide) reserves the right to refuse participants who come equipped inappropriately to the requirements or with inadequate physical condition.
– The tours are held in safe conditions and with a minimum number of participants. The organizer reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tours without prior notice if these conditions are not met.
– The ticket price is refunded only if the organizer (guide) cancels the hike.
