"Astronomy is a universal language," said @Ucenicul Astronom, a partner of the event "Night of the Stars," which is being organized for the first time in Saschiz-Cloașterf from August 10th to 11th, 2024, and will provide practical astronomical observations during the day and night with a telescope, and for the Perseids, with the naked eye.

Whether you are a novice or simply curious, children and adults, locals or visitors, we invite you to join us for two days on a journey of discovery and "broadening your horizons."

The event has two sections, divided over different days and locations:

August 10th, in Saschiz - the theory section, guided by Dr. Sylvia Ekstrom from the University of Geneva, Switzerland - who, out of passion and a desire to share information in the field of astrophysics, has prepared a lecture titled "Night Flight," followed by a Q&A session and open discussions.

Telescope Observations: 4:30 PM
Location: Saschiz, HuB ONG hall and courtyard
For the general public:

Lecture: 7:00 PM followed by daytime observations
Moving to Camping Zori in Cloasterf for nighttime observations
August 11th
