Connections: a small exhibition of old and new objects hosted by the fortified Church in Șomartin, a delightful village in the eastern part of the Hârtibaciului Valley.
The exhibits belong both to the Saxon community in the village and to the new community, still in formation, made up of Romanians, mainly, but also of foreigners who chose our village to experience a new lifestyle compared to the one in their country of origin.

The exhibited objects are representative of us as individuals, making the connection between the way of life in the past and the present, but also the connection between us, as members of a community in the making.

The Night of Museums in the Villages is a good opportunity to promote the fortified church in Șomartin and make it even better known to the public.

Guests will also enjoy delicacies prepared in the village by ladies belonging to the Saxon and Romanian ethnic groups.
