Casolt. A small Saxon village, documented around the year 1300, located only 15 km from the Great Square of Sibiu. And yet so unknown, including to the Siberians. We aim to make it known. It has a rich and tumultuous history, interspersed with moments of prosperity and uncertainty. Over time, it was the scene of events that involved, in the Middle Ages, Tatars and Turks, or, in more recent times, it was the scene of important battles from the Great War, or the First World War. We will bring all these events to the attention of our guests through presentations and exhibitions. These will be complemented by authentic gastronomic experiences, the guided tour of the locality as well as the presentation of local traditions.
