"Mediaș Bike Marathon" is a cross-country cycling competition taking place in the northern area of Sibiu County, traversing picturesque rural localities with fortified churches such as Biertan, Richiș, Buzd, Nou Săsesc, and Mălăncrav, as well as shaded forest areas within the Natura 2000 Site heritage, with some routes also included in the well-known Via Transilvanica.

This year, the event is an official stage of the Romanian MTB Cup (XCM).
