The King Charles III House in Viscri will host “Maria: Queen and Artist”, an event dedicated to the artistic personality of Queen Marie of Romania, marking the 150th anniversary of her birth.
The guest speaker, Shona Kallestrup, art historian, will invite the audience to explore Queen Marie’s creative universe, highlighting her contribution to visual culture, decorative arts, and the shaping of an artistic identity deeply connected to Romania’s history.
The event offers an opportunity to rediscover Queen Marie not only as a remarkable historical figure, but also as an artist, patron of the arts, and promoter of beauty.
