On the Via Transilvanica, high up in the Transylvanian Highlands, the path takes you directly to the Stâna de pe Coline, where shepherd Florin always awaits hikers with a good mood and stories about the authentic life of a shepherd. The place seems to be taken out of a story, with curious animals and a landscape that makes you slow down, the pace. It is the perfect refuge where you can taste good food and see how life actually flows at the sheepfold.

Florin told us some time ago that for him it is a real therapy to receive hikers and sit and tell stories with them. His only complaint was that these wonderful moments always had to be cut short, because there was no accommodation at the sheepfold. That is why we thought of offering hikers a unique experience on the route: a place where they could stay safely on the hills.

So, on Saturday, July 11, at 11:00 AM, we are inaugurating the deployment of the second hosting module on Via Transilvanica, near Stâna de pe Coline in Florești, Laslea commune, Sibiu county, where we look forward to welcoming you to celebrate this moment with us!

We will meet in the village, near the Via Transilvanica signpost, and we will set off together, at a walking pace, on a short hike.
