Heritage Run is a race designed for running enthusiasts who want to contribute to the preservation of historical monuments simply by participating. With race distances ranging from 7 to 22 km, the event is open to all levels of trail runners. The route connects four fortified churches and offers a diverse landscape, featuring long stretches of forest in the rolling hills of the Târnava region. Participants will run on country roads, narrow trails marked by Via Transilvanica, Colinele Transilvaniei, and the Mediaș Bike Marathon, as well as through the courtyards of the fortified churches themselves, starting with the UNESCO-listed church in Biertan.
