This May 1st, we invite you to discover Taste of the Citadel – a cultural picnic held in the Saschiz Refuge Fortress, bringing together community, heritage, and local gastronomy.

What we have prepared:
• picnic baskets for 2 people (maximum 50 baskets available), filled with dishes prepared by the Women’s Neighborhood Association of Saschiz
• guided tours and stories from the 14th-century fortress
• cultural activities led by the fortress volunteers

The Taste of the Citadel cultural picnic is designed to support the Women’s Neighborhood social project: the “Bucate din Vecinătate” canteen – providing a warm, nutritious lunch for every schoolchild.

Participation is by registration only, limited to a maximum of 50 picnic baskets (1 basket = 2 people), via the form available here:
