On September 12 and 13, we invite you to the 53rd edition of the "Florile Oltului" National Folk Music Performance Competition—an event dedicated to promoting young performers and preserving the authenticity of Romanian folklore.

Sixteen contestants from various regions of the country will take the stage to perform authentic songs, *doinas*, and ballads, as well as up-tempo pieces. The competition will be judged based on artistic merit, authenticity, stage presence, and respect for folk costumes and traditions.

The "Florile Oltului" Trophy and other awards will recognize the talent and hard work of the best contestants, while the audience will also have a say by selecting the winner of the Popularity Award.

This competition, boasting a history spanning over five decades, continues its mission: to keep tradition alive and carry it forward through the voices of a new generation of performers.
