We will start near the fortified church in Hosman, where we can park our cars, and head south toward the village of Glâmboaca, located on the banks of the Olt River. Once we reach the hilltop, we will take in the panoramic view of the majestic Făgăraș Mountains. After a short snack break, we will continue slightly eastward toward the village of Fofeldea, then turn north to return to Hosman via a forest trail.
For those who make it all the way to the end, we have a local culinary surprise in store: a traditional Saxon *hencleș* (a type of sweet or savory tart) to enjoy at the end of the hike.
This hike is suitable for those with a basic level of physical fitness and for children aged 6 and older.
