On July 13, at 2:00 PM, the "Fragments" exhibition by artists Sorin and Adrian Ilfoveanu will open in the fortified evangelical church in Alma Vii, Sibiu County, supported by the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation. The event will include an acoustic concert by Călin Han and will take place in the presence of artists Adrian and Nicu Ilfoveanu. The exhibition will be open until September 30, 2024.

The evangelical church in Alma Vii, a historical site over 600 years old, was restored by the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation starting in 2008. This year, the foundation won the European Heritage Award / Europa Nostra Award in the "Conservation and Adaptive Reuse" category.

The "Fragments" exhibition continues the cultural initiative begun in 2023, which aims to annually bring the works of important artists to the fortified church. The Ilfoveanus' creations engage in a dialogue with the site's rich history and the traditions of the revived community. The exhibition is curated by Cosmin Florea.

Călin Han, a clarinetist and organology enthusiast, will perform an acoustic concert. Han, born in Cluj, has lived in Sibiu for over ten years and is part of the military band of the Land Forces Academy, promoting wind instruments through the "Hanu' cu Bragă" project.
