Dear hikers,
On November 9th, we will set off with young and old on a new adventure in the nature of Sibiu County. This time our destination is a protected area near the village of Slimnic, Dealul Zackel - Steppe Islands Șura Mică - Slimnic.

We will meet in the morning at 9.30 in the parking lot of the Kaufland Sibiu Veteranilor store (at the exit from Sibiu to Șura Mare). We will park the cars at the entrance to Slimnic and we will climb approximately one kilometer up the Zackel hill that rises above the town and we will descend to the Slimnic fortress, where we will tell about its fascinating story.

Tour duration: approximately 4 - 5 hours.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Water/tea bottle, minimum 1 l.;
Snack for a break halfway through the route;
Hiking boots;
Rain jacket.

COSTS
80 lei/adult participant. Children between 6 and 14 years old pay a participation fee of 40 lei.
The tour will be held with a minimum of 10 paying adult participants.
Children will participate accompanied by an adult.
