Dear hikers,
On Sunday, August 9, we offer you a special experience: an easy hike through the peaceful landscapes around Biertan, followed by a picnic in a natural setting of a fairy tale.
The route is circular, starting from Biertan and ending here, crossing gentle hills, shady paths and perfect places to enjoy nature in peace.
At the end of the hike, we will stop for a carefully prepared picnic, where we will relax and enjoy local dishes, in a friendly atmosphere. The experience also includes a visit to the fortified church of Biertan, one of the most valuable medieval monuments in Transylvania.
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Meeting: 12:30 PM, in front of Mediaș Train Station or 1:00 PM, in the center of Biertan village, in Piața Mare, near the Via Transilvanica sign.

COSTS
210 lei/adult – the price includes the guide, entrance to the fortified church and the picnic (soup, salad, dessert and drinks).
135 lei/child.
The number of places is limited to 14 participants.
TRANSPORT
Transportation is the responsibility of each participant and is done at their own expense.
People leaving from Mediaș and needing transportation are asked to contact the organizer to establish travel options.
