We invite you to a hike through spectacular forests and hills, on the Via Transilvanica route, in the heart of the Transylvanian Hills.
We arrive in Richiș, where the “Green Man” Medieval Festival awaits us – knights, ladies, music and a medieval atmosphere.
We visit the local producers’ fair, enjoy the local gastronomy and, at the group’s request, explore the fortified churches of Richiș and Biertan.
A day with nature, tradition and authentic experiences – not to be missed!

WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Departure will be on Saturday, 05.07.2025 at 8:30 in Sibiu, from the Hornbach parking lot with personal cars to the town of Biertan

ROUTE INFORMATION
Distance: 6 -12 Km. The route can be adjusted according to the group’s preferences.
Elevation difference: approx. 200 m
Trail difficulty: easy
Hiking time: 3 – 5 hours
Experience time: 8 - 9 hours

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
required: T-shirts, spare pants and socks, boots, raincoat, hiking poles (recommended), sun hat, sunscreen, insect spray, whistle, water bottle min. 1.5 liters, food, bars, magnesium

COSTS
80 lei for participation in the hike.
Optionally, you can visit the fortified churches of Biertan – 20 lei/pers, Richis – 15 lei/pers
Transportation and consumption will be paid separately and independently.
