With great pleasure, we invite you to join us on a fascinating journey through the protected areas of Sibiu County, scheduled for March 16th. Our destination is the Natura 2000 site Avrig - Scorei - Făgăraș, dedicated to the conservation of water birds and their natural habitats.

Accompanied by an ornithology specialist from Sibiu, we will embark on an exciting adventure along the embankment of the Bradu reservoir. Here, we have the privilege to observe and learn about the marvelous diversity of water birds, using tools such as binoculars to admire them up close. Our specialist will passionately share their knowledge about these creatures and unveil the secrets of the area, including other nearby protected areas such as the Natura 2000 site Piemontul Făgăraș and the Natura 2000 site Munții Făgăraș.

After this exhilarating experience, we will head to the reservoir at Săcădate, where we will continue to discover the beauty and importance of the natural habitat for wild birds. A leisurely stroll along the reservoir embankment will offer us the opportunity to enjoy the panorama and learn more about the birds that inhabit these places, including those that choose to winter in this picturesque area.
