Dear Hikers,
Join us on Sunday, August 6, for a new hike on Via Transilvanica, between the villages of Mălâncrav and Criș.
In Mălâncrav, we visit the fortified church - famous for its mural painting -, then we start on the road, following the orange Ts in the east direction. We pass through Florești and then stop in Criș, where we also visit the Bethlen Castle.
In terms of difficulty, the hike is designed for beginners and intermediates – or for those who want a day in nature without the difficulties of mountain terrain. The difference in level is not very big, the slopes are not steep, but a minimum resistance is required to walk a long way (it is about 14 km).
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
Meeting: 9:00 a.m., at Mediaș Train Station - for those who also want transport.
Or 9.30, at the fortified church in Mălâncrav, for those who already have transport.
The experience is designed in such a way that it starts from Mediaș by minibus and returns to Mediaș by minibus. If there are people who want to start from Mălâncrav, they will have Criș - Mălâncrav transport provided on their return.
