Spring hike in Gușterițajust 20 km north of Sibiu: migratory birds, panoramas and stories in nature

On April 27, nature lovers are invited to a relaxing hike on the hills around the Gușterița neighborhood, on an easy 10 km route, suitable for all ages (children from 6 years old and up). The meeting point is at 9:30 am, in front of the Evangelical Church in Gușterița.

The route takes participants through an authentic pastoral landscape: a country road leads to an old farm where you can observe ibis returning from their African migration, nesting in the clay banks. Next comes a pasture animated by insectivorous birds, then a lookout area with spectacular views of the Lotrului and Cindrel Mountains.

The hike also includes an incursion through a deciduous forest, where you can listen to the songs of birds in full nesting season. The lunch break will take place near the village of Hamba, followed by games and educational activities for children and adults.
