This summer, the nature in Sighișoara becomes a classroom and a playground.
As part of the Biodiversity for the Community project, you have the opportunity to participate in a children's hike, on the newest thematic trail newly installed along the Târnava, in the Bența neighborhood.

What exactly are we doing?
🔍 We are setting off on a small expedition on the newly installed thematic trail on the Târnava dam. It is a special route created for discovering, observing and learning, on foot.
📖 At the beginning of the workshop, each child receives an illustrated guidebook, "On the Water's Edge", created especially for this route. It is full of games, challenges, questions and riddles related to nature.
🌱 Along the way:
• we look for animal tracks – paws, feathers, hidden shelters
• we discover local plants – we name them, smell them, draw them
• we learn to listen to the river, to observe the flow of water, the life around it
• we explore the thematic trail panels, which hide clues and friendly information
• we play – with team games, attention exercises and creativity
• we discuss what biodiversity means and why it is important for all of us

It is not about lessons taught, but about questions asked. About small things that tell big stories.

Who will be with them?

Andrei Călugăr (Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation) and Mădălina Marian (Colinele Transilvaniei), who will guide the activities step by step.
