On Sunday, February 16, let’s enjoy a beautiful day outdoors, explore diverse ecosystems, and wrap it up with a delicious fish soup!

We’ll start from the center of Mediaș, quickly ascend the hills, cross two pasture-forest areas (a unique ecosystem mainly found in southern Transylvania), admire a young woodland, and then reward ourselves with a bowl of fish soup or an egg roe salad at Cherhana Denisa.

The total route is 8 km, with 2 km through town and the rest through nature. If we’re lucky, we might even spot some deer!

This hike is family-friendly and perfect for little (but sturdy) legs.
