On April 26, 2025, the village of Richiș in the commune of Biertan will once again become the meeting point for lovers of slow tourism, nature and cultural heritage. The 2nd edition of the event "Opening the tourist season in Richiș" brings together specialists, artists and local communities in a day full of presentations, music and interactive activities. Below you can find the full program of the event.

Program:

11:00 AM – Communication and presentations – Session 1
The “Transylvanian Green Man Route for Slow Tourism in Sibiu County” Project
The Research Commission on the Green Man and the Celtic Worlds and the Templar Academy of Rome – Transylvania Section – presents Adela Drăguț
Richiș: challenge and vision for a new map of the Green Man’s slow tourism – presents Francesco Tacconi
The revitalization of the Fortified Church of Richiș for sustainable tourism and community development

1:00 PM – Guided tour of the Fortified Church of Richiș. Free admission. The visit will be preceded by a full-screen video presentation at the Cultural Center and the exterior symbols inside the Church.

2:00 PM – Green Man Brunch, with live music with Illeana-Ionela Conțiu, Ana-Maria Surdu and Alex from Sibiu

3:30 PM – Communications and presentations – Session 2
Presentation: The vision of tourism development of Biertan commune
Activating young people through heritage, crafts and various professions

5:00 PM – Closing of the communications session
Conclusion presentation: Mihaela Solomon – tourism advisor

Outdoor artistic event – ​​Evening in Richiș
6:30 PM – Live concert and poetry by the campfire
Location: Green Man Hostel – Green Man Stopover or inside the Church (in case of inclement weather).
Participating: Trupa Zero, poetry with Illeana-Ionela Conțiu, Ana-Maria Surdu and Alex from Sibiu.
