The event celebrates 'Global Big Day', the annual celebration of birds.
It's a close-up birdwatching contest, held over a maximum of 24 hours.
Participation can be done individually or in teams (of a maximum of 5 people) and is intended for both experts and non-initiates, regardless of age.

The race ends in the churchyard of Apold, across the hill from Brădeni, where the participants will compare the lists with the observed species, and the jury will award the winners at midnight. And because the event coincides with the Night of the Museums, CasApold organizes a small cultural event, Noctambuli la Castel, and the "TRANS.FORT" exhibition at the church, from 3:00 p.m., where refreshments and a warm atmosphere will be offered until at midnight.

The day before there will be a zoom to meet the teams, give some general information and introduce the rules. A few bonus prizes may also be mentioned!
