We are bringing this concert-performance to Romania—specifically to Sighișoara—as part of the Early and Folk Music Festival.

"Villanelle and Love Songs" is a theatrical and musical production by the Salento-based company SPECIMEN Teatro, founded by Salvatore Gervasi. This concert-performance was created and presented as part of SPECIMEN Teatro’s research and artistic production activities; it ranks among the group's landmark events, alongside works such as *Te Sule a Sule*, *Tragicommedia di Don Cristobal e di Donna Rosita*, and *Progetto Stravinsky*. It is part of a movement to revive folk traditions, musical memory, and the songs of Southern Italy (specifically the Salento region), combining the ethnomusicological and theatrical research characteristic of Salvatore Gervasi and the artists of SPECIMEN.
