On Friday, September 18, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM, we are opening the gates of our homestead in the picturesque Saxon village of Valchid. Located in the heart of Transylvania—just 7 km from the UNESCO site of Biertan and not far from the entrance to the *Via Transilvanica* trail (Terra Saxonum sector)—our home offers a wonderful glimpse into Transylvanian village life. Join us to meet the locals and enjoy authentic culinary experiences, nature, and well-preserved traditional architecture.

The event will take place between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, featuring the following activities:
🔸 Appetizers made with 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝: eggplant salad, assorted cheeses, pork cracklings, cured bacon, lard, onions, *zacusca* (vegetable spread), homemade sausages, and meatballs; plus coffee (from the Rubia social enterprise in Șoala village), lemonade, and water;
🔸 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 "𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝟐𝟑𝟗" 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭; 🔸 Live acoustic music
