Join us on Saturday, March 4, 2023 starting at 6:00 PM to discover some of the tastiest dishes from the Szekely region, in a joyful evening in the Sighișoara Hotel Winery.
The menu is based on artisanal, refined food, made by small producers from Harghita and Covasna counties.
You will have the chance to do a tasting of mature and fresh buffalo cheeses, charcuterie, beef, homemade bread and fragrant jams, all washed down with the right wines.

The series of events "Transylvanian Kitchens in the Medieval Citadel" celebrates the gastronomic diversity of the area and the Transylvanian recipes so tasty and spectacular.
On this occasion you will get to know local producers in the area and their food, made from fresh ingredients and using traditional methods.
The atmosphere will be maintained by a surprise artistic moment.🎶

The guests of the event are:
🧀Fülöp Szabolcs, a priest from Daia Secuiască village, runs a buffalo and horse farm with his family. The Fülöp family produces soft and semi-hard cheeses from buffalo milk, along with yogurts, butter and homemade processed cheese.
🐮 Kincses Kálmán, also a priest from Eliseni village is in charge of breeding cattle from the Hungarian Gray cattle, a breed highly appreciated by breeders and beef consumers. The meat is very tasty, tender, with fibers and layers of fine fat similar to the Angus breed.
🍷 The whole menu will be accompanied by local wines from boutique wineries with small productions in Transylvania.
🍓 A dessert with sweet buffalo cheese will be the perfect ending for this event.

Price: 250 RON/person for an aperitif with buffalo cheeses and artisan charcuterie, main course of sour beef, dessert and wine pairing.
