We invite you to an autumn brunch in the barn on Saturday, September 26, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, held in the garden of the former Evangelical parish house in Cincșor. Chef Adrian Boșcu and his team have creatively prepared a lavish spread featuring seasonal delicacies and local products in inspired combinations.
This brunch is organized in partnership with the My Transylvania Association.

This culinary experience is organized as part of the Cincșor 2026 International Visual Arts Residency—a cultural event that annually brings together artists from Romania and abroad in Cincșor to create work inspired by local history, nature, and heritage. This year’s theme is MEMORY/TRADITION, with the richness of Saxon textile heritage serving as the artists' source of inspiration.
Schedule for Saturday, September 26, 2026:
11:00 AM – Brunch in the barn, featuring a buffet and local seasonal specialties (price: 170 RON/person);
1:00 PM – Presentation on Saxon textile heritage by Iulia Gorneanu (curator, ethnographer, collector, and documentarian), held in the library of the former Saxon school (free admission); 14:00 – Meeting with German writer Iris Wolff—originally from Sibiu and a recipient of multiple literary awards—who returns to Cincșor following her 2022 artist residency. She is currently one of the most acclaimed authors; two of her most successful novels, *Lumea estompată* and *Să te faci că plouă*, have been published in Romanian by Lebăda Neagră Publishing House (free admission);
15:00 – Opening of the group exhibition *MEMORY/TRADITION* at the Cincșor fortified church, attended by the artists, with an introduction by Andreea Ciortea (cultural manager and trainer). Free admission;
15:30 – Recital by legendary guitarist Erlend Krauser—formerly of the band Phoenix—at the Cincșor fortified church. Free admission.

A charity event organized in collaboration with the Fortified Churches Foundation to support conservation and restoration efforts for the Cincșor fortified church, which has been transformed into a cultural church.
