We invite you to slow down and spend a day dedicated to discovering local beauty, art and authentic connections between people.

The day begins with a guided walk through the village of Cârța, exploring the rural architecture, the stories of the place and one of the most valuable historical monuments in the area – the impressive remains of the former Cistercian monastery, a landmark of Transylvanian heritage.

After this foray into the history and identity of the place, easels will be set up in the middle of an emblematic landscape for an outdoor painting session. No artistic experience is necessary – the retreat is an invitation to observation, presence and free expression. Art here becomes a common language, a way to transform what we see and feel into color, form and dialogue.

In a world where everything is happening in a hurry, this retreat is an opportunity to rediscover the joy of simple things: the heritage that defines us, the landscapes that inspire us and the community that is formed around a shared creative experience.
The day ends around the table, at Camping de Oude Wilg, where we will enjoy local dishes and relaxed conversations, celebrating the tastes, stories and people that give life to this corner of Transylvania.

• 15:00–18:00 – Outdoor painting session
• 18:30 – Late dinner / late lunch at Camping de Oude Wilg
