Dear hikers,

You are invited to a new hike organised by Anii Drumeției.

Departure will be from the Kaufland Calea Șurii Mari car park for participants coming from Sibiu, or from Bassen Pension in Bazna, which is hosting the Artists’ Camp during the week of 1–7 June.

From 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you will be able to take part in one of the four workshops organised at the camp: painting, sculpture, wool and knot crafts, or fashion design. Afterwards, the hike will begin along the Via Transilvanica trail, through a bright forest filled with wild garlic and crossed by beautiful paths.

The circular route ends at Bassen Pension, where those who wish may stay for lunch and for the opening of the exhibition.

The hike is suitable for everyone, with or without hiking experience, provided they have a basic level of physical fitness.

Travel from Sibiu to Bazna will be by private car.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
Hiking shoes or boots with good grip;
Season-appropriate clothing: a technical T-shirt, hiking trousers and a waterproof outer layer; bringing a spare T-shirt is also recommended;
A small hiking backpack and a water bottle, with at least 1–1.5 litres of water;
A small snack for the break along the trail, such as a piece of fruit or an energy bar.
TRANSPORT

We can provide return transport for a limited number of participants. To reserve a seat, please contact us by phone at 0722 177001 after completing your registration.

Once registration has been completed, the guide will create a WhatsApp group where we will organise transport and redistribute participants among the cars of those driving. The transport costs for these cars will be shared among their occupants.

COSTS

Hike: RON 70/adult, RON 40/pupil or student, free for children under 8 years old.
Workshop participation — mandatory: RON 30/adult or RON 60/family (2 adults and 1–2 children).
Lunch — optional: Depending on the host’s availability and the price, you may decide there whether you would like to stay for lunch.
Visit to the exhibition featuring the artists’ creations from that week: Free admission.

The hike will take place with a minimum of 10 paying participants.

Children aged 5 and above may participate, provided that each child is accompanied by an adult. Parents are responsible for assessing whether the route is suitable for their children.
