Event: “Tell me about Cincu / Grossschenk”

11:00 – Festive service held by pastor Michael Reger, accompanied by the choirs of the Transylvanian Band Göppingen.
12:30 – Lunch, drinks and traditional specialties at the grill.
14:00–18:00 – Cultural program, accompanied by the Transylvanian Band Göppingen:
guided tours of the recently renovated fortified church;
visit to the Doll Museum and the exhibition “The Saxons of Transylvania”, made by photographers Pascual and Vincent;
exhibition “Village Girls – Culture, Work and Community in Cincu”;
reading for children and adults from the volume “Romanian Folk Tales from the Middle Hârtibaciu Valley”, collected by Pauline Schullerus;
folk songs performed together with the participants, accompanied by the band;
walks through Cincu and visit to the cemetery.
20:00 – Zieker Ball, with “Power-Saxon” Andy Wagner.

Participants are asked to bring their own basket of snacks and appetizers. Drinks can be purchased on site.
