Werk 2 is a family-run agritourism guesthouse created inside a former Saxon barn in Saschiz, carefully restored and adapted to preserve the character of the local architecture. Its four guest rooms combine traditional elements with modern facilities, while the spacious garden, bordered by a small stream, provides a peaceful setting for rest and connection with nature.

Located between the fortified Evangelical church and the medieval peasant fortress, the guesthouse is an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling. Saschiz lies on the Via Transilvanica route and is connected to the cycling network linking the Saxon villages between Sighișoara and Viscri. Breakfast is prepared mainly with products from the hosts’ own household and from small local producers, while the hosts can provide information about the area’s heritage, natural landscapes and activities.
