In addition to the already well-known competition and the beautiful trails, TBT Race is an exploration of country life, our past, nature, the history and traditions of the Saxons, the culture of the area, local food and products. It is a return in time and inside the local history that now offers a new tourist approach: activities for an active life, unique routes, comfort in the architectural framework restored almost traditional, healthy food from local productions.

Get ready for the holidays for that week, for active rest and nature. You can come anytime that week - you have things to do, visit and admire. In the second part of the week before the race, as usual, we will offer you different cultural-sports-socializing activities.
In order not to miss any element of the area, we remind you that TBT Race means: movement - local food - nature - country life - vacation - traditions - socializing - medieval history - architecture - music - and sitting by the fire in the evening.

All this together with the local community.

Being a Natura 2000 site, with many fortified churches and UNESCO protected fortresses, it is the perfect place for an active mini-holiday in August, in the country. You can find many places to visit on the site if you do not fit into the standard program.

Visit Transylvanian Highlands alone, with family or friends.

Time schedule:
7: 30-9: 00 Picking up competition packages from Saschiz in the starting area. There are NO registrations and payments on Saturday.
10:00 START - Transylvania Bike Trails Race
10:30 Presentation of the Church organ (from 1786) and small concert in the Church of Saschiz (for the companions left after the start)
11.20 Arrival of the first competitors from the short route
11.45 Arrival of the first competitors from the middle route
13:10 Arrival of the first competitors on the long route
14:00 Meal with local products, bull and pork, burgers, etc.
17:00 Award ceremony
18: 00-19: 00 Concert 4Tune Quartet and Bălașa Percussion Group
21:00 Socializing on fire, wine and guitar.
