As part of the Night of Museums in the Villages, on August 31, in Șona, the Archive House (no. 221), a place dedicated to local stories, will be opened for the first time to the general public, a space where a marathon of scanning photos and documents will take place throughout the day and night. This initiative aims to encourage other village initiative groups to start their own archives and to promote the beauty and value of old photographs. We invite visitors to come with old photos from the village or from Șara Făgărașului to be scanned and to make a collective effort to identify the characters. Our area is an open community and we want the Archive House to be as well.
