Connection and Creation in Gherdeal May 22–24, 2026
We invite you to a creative immersion in the heart of nature, designed to explore the intersection of Land Art, Environmental Art, and Garden Design.
Under the guidance of Tudor Chiliman, arch. and visual artist with over 20 years of experience in sculptural installations made from natural materials (Rebirth, Waha, Glia)- we will transform local resources into a functional and expressive work of art, deeply connected to the "spirit of the place" and meant to remain part of the landscape.
What to expect during the workshop?
Together, we will follow the natural journey from idea to finished object through a hands-on process of learning and execution:
• We will discover the space and its surroundings to truly understand the landscape.
• We will establish the garden’s needs—whether it’s a living fence, a shaded retreat, a winding path, or a structure for aromatic herbs.
• We will identify and collect natural materials provided by the nearby oak forest and the surrounding area.
• We will bring the project to life using natural construction techniques and intuitive design.

Workshop Investment:: 750 Lei / participant.

Regarding accommodation, there are several options in the area, from tent, Glamping (Bell Tent, cost: 200 lei / tent per day. Capacity 2–3 people) or renting a double room in restored Saxon houses in the village.
