The ninth edition of the largest festival dedicated to Saxon culture and traditions in Transylvania, Haferland Week, will take place physically and online, from July 30 to August 1.

The opening event will take place in the beatiful village of Archita
10.30am – Official opening - Greetings from the invited personalities
11.15am – Classical music concert – “Light Quartet”.
11.45am – Romanian-German poetry lecture with actors Ali Deac, Gabriela Pîrlițeanu from the National Theater “Radu Stanca” in Sibiu.
12.15pm – Public debate on “Local entrepreneurs who carry on the tradition”. Speakers: Silian Gheorghe – entrepreneur from Archita (truffle plantation, truffle hunting, tourism); Piştea Delia – entrepreneur from Archita (cheese production), Mircea Felegean Augustin, Mayor of Archita; Giulio da Sacco – entrepreneur from Meșendorf.
01.00pm – Artistic moment – Traditional Saxon dances with the traditional dance ensemble of the German Democratic Forum on the esplanade of the fortified church
